Built in 2010 this 54 bail Waikato Orbit rotary platform is milking 420 cows in a little over an hour.

When Ian and Pamela Storey built their new dairy because the old shed was right under proposed powerline plans they saw it as an opertunity to future proof their farming operation. They chose a Waikato Milking Systems Plant because it's a straightforward, practical set-up and is very reliable.

The 3m wide concrete deck ensures a stable milking platform and excellent protection for the milking equipment mounted internally. A Waikato milking system with SmartPULS, SmartECR’s and BailGates provides a fast and efficient milking machine with plenty of scope for further farm development.  The SmartWASH system automatically washes the entire plant at the end of milking and turns itself off when it's finished which is a huge time saver for Ian and his staff.
