Landcorp - Blairs Dairy Unit milk their herd of 850 cows on a Waikato Orbit rotary platform, taking just under 2.5 hours.

The Orbit concrete platform offers smooth, quiet operation and is supported on steel rollers by a well proven sub-structure. The electronic drive units require only 1.5Kw and coupled to a variable speed drive provide the flexibility needed to minimise milking time. A Waikato Milking System was installed onto the platform, with the key components being SmartECR, BailGates and SmartWASH
