Milk Recovery
Milk Recovery - Electric/Compressed Air - Being able to purge your milking system at the end of milking can provide an added advantage, increasing the milk volume in the bulk tank by as much as 60L per milking, depending of course on the size and length of your delivery line.
Whatever the case, you will save milk that, if not purged, is normally diluted with water and run to waste. A Milk Recovery Unit is easy to install with a new milking system or as a retrofit to existing machines. Calculate what lost milk could be costing you, then invest in a product that could put these dollars back in the bank.
• Electrically timed - pneumatically driven
• Suitable for use with most compressed air systems
• Adjustable and regulated pressure setting
• Timing from 1 to 60 seconds
• Air filtered prior to entry into the milk system
• When activated, the milk recovery system controller
delivers air close to the milkpump and gently empties
most of the residual milk in the delivery lines into the
bulk milk tank
• Push button operation
• Reduces the risk of adding water to the bulk tank
• Fast payback potential
• Compressor optional at extra cost
