Easily installed and maintained

Modern cleaning systems that use electronic air injectors are typically quite noisy during operation. Although air injectors operate periodically only during the wash mode, the blast noise can be overpowering and is undesirable. This requires damping to comply with noise regulations. A new dairy is a quiet place to work nowadays and to keep it that way we have developed a Hush Kit that fits neatly over our electronic air injector reducing the noise to that of a whisper.

Waikato Air Injector Hush Kits are made in a simple rota-mould process that produces a top cover and a bottom plate with pipe port included. The entire air injector is covered when the Hush Kit is installed and the blast noise suppressed by a low density filter element. The filter has been specifically selected to control noise without restricting airflow. In the event that further adjustment is required to the air injector, the body and the filter can be easily separated. The filter element is washable and replacement parts are available.

When specifying a new milking system it is more than likely a Slug Wash cleaning system will be included. A Waikato Electronic Air injector, complete with Hush Kit will be standard equipment. An air injector may be part of a milking machine upgrade if this is the case it would be a wise decision to include a Hush Kit.
